Amit Bhinde

Amit Bhinde is a seasoned mechanical engineer with extensive experience in design and development across multiple industries. Beginning a career as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Sushrut Consultants from July 2003 to March 2005, Amit gained foundational skills in bearing design and assembly layouts. Amit advanced to a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer role at Larsen & Toubro Limited from April 2005 to January 2011, focusing on components for trucks and off-highway vehicles. Following this, Amit contributed to Kenworth Truck Co. from February 2011 to August 2014, where design of injection-molded chassis fairings and adherence to six sigma principles were key responsibilities. Transitioning to Microsoft, Amit worked as a Mechanical Engineer II on Xbox controllers and later as a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Microsoft Surface from September 2014 to December 2025, leading team efforts on various subsystems. Currently, Amit serves as a Product Design Engineer at Meta, demonstrating a robust trajectory in mechanical engineering and design leadership. Amit holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical from Sardar Patel University, completed in 2003.
