Amit Madaan

Amit Madaan is an experienced engineering manager at Meta, overseeing machine learning-driven user ads supply personalization and user engagement initiatives since July 2019. Prior to this role, Amit served as a technical lead and software engineer at Facebook, contributing to marketplace search and relevance ranking projects. Amit's career began at Yahoo! Labs, where significant work was done in web data mining and information retrieval. In addition to engineering roles, Amit has a strong academic background in data mining and machine learning, holding an M.Tech. from the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur, and a B.E. from Kumaun University.
