Andrea Bravi, PhD, has extensive experience in data engineering and algorithm development, having worked in various academic and corporate settings. From September 2008 to September 2009, Andrea served as an Algorithm Researcher at the University of Pisa and later at Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna. A tenure as a Data Engineer at Therapeutic Monitoring Systems Inc. followed from September 2010 to March 2014. Additional roles included System Designer at the University of Ottawa Heart Institute in early 2010, Data Scientist at Caffeinehit Ltd. from April to September 2014, and Senior Data Analyst at Apple from October 2014 to November 2024. Currently, Andrea holds the position of Staff Data Engineer at Meta since November 2024. Academic qualifications include a BASc and MASc from Università di Pisa, a Diploma from Scuola Superiore Sant'Anna, a PhD from the University of Ottawa, and participation in the Robotics Institute Summer Scholar program at Carnegie Mellon University.
