Ang Li, Ph.D., has a robust background in research and data science, with experience at notable institutions and companies including the University of Pittsburgh, Spotify, Northwestern University, DePaul University, Google, and Meta. At the University of Pittsburgh, research focused on content contributors in social media, generating insights for designing inclusive social computing systems. As a Research Scientist Intern at Spotify, research encompassed user consumption habits of music versus podcasts, employing causal inference methods and statistical analyses. Ang Li also led cross-functional research projects at Spotify that assessed recommendation impact and informed strategy design.
