Ashley Blum is a skilled researcher and educator with a focus on political science and media studies. Blum served as a Paralegal at Storch Amini & Munves PC from June 2013 to October 2014 and transitioned to a Researcher role at MapLight from November 2014 to July 2015. Following this, Blum pursued a Ph.D. at the University of California, Los Angeles from 2015 to 2022, where extensive research was conducted on media preferences in Russia. Blum's expertise was further developed during a Postdoctoral Research Associate position at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2022 to October 2024, leading a significant study on media trust in Poland. Currently, Blum is a Research Scientist at Meta since October 2024 and has also taught an original course on political propaganda at DePaul University in early 2022.
