Assaf Singer

Assaf Singer is an accomplished technology leader with extensive experience in engineering and software development. Currently serving as a Director of Engineering at Meta from August 2021 to August 2024, Assaf previously held the position of Vice President of Software Development at Verizon Media, where responsibilities included leading R&D teams for premium marketplaces and managing distributed teams across the US, Tel Aviv, and Taiwan. Prior experience at Yahoo! Inc. included roles such as Senior Director and Head of Engineering for the Gemini Native Ads platform, where Assaf's leadership contributed to significant revenue generation through high-quality, personalized advertising. Assaf began the career as a Research Assistant at Tel Aviv University while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science and Economics from the same institution.
