Avi Hollander possesses a strong background in engineering and data science, with a focus on machine learning and cybersecurity. Beginning a career in the Mork Family Department of Chemical Engineering as a Student Researcher, Avi developed reservoir simulation techniques and predictive performance plots. Subsequent experiences include roles at the Center for Interactive Smart Oilfield Technologies and as a Cyber Security Analyst at Columbus Collaboratory, where responsibilities spanned multiple cybersecurity domains and involved advanced data analysis. As a Data Scientist at Battelle, optimization of crude oil processes was achieved through innovative algorithm development and automation tools. Currently, Avi serves as a Software Engineer in Machine Learning at Meta, alongside previous positions at JPMorgan Chase & Co. as an Applied AI/ML Lead. Avi holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics from Touro University and a Master’s Degree in Petroleum Engineering from the University of Southern California.
