Barry Silverstein

Barry Silverstein is an experienced professional in optics and display research, currently serving as Senior Director of Optics and Display Research at Reality Labs Research, Meta. Previously, Barry held the position of Optics and Display Research Director at Reality Labs, as well as Senior Director of R&D Hardware at IMAX. Prior roles include Optics and Photonics Technology Manager, Lead Optical System Engineer, and Senior Research Scientist at Eastman Kodak, alongside a tenure as Systems Engineer at ITT Space Systems Division. Barry has pursued education in entrepreneurship through boot camp training at the University of Rochester, and attended the Rochester Institute of Technology.
