Bashanta Dahal

Bashanta Dahal is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience managing and leading teams in various roles across notable companies such as PayPal, Vodafone Australia, and Meta. Currently serving as a Software Engineering Manager at Meta, Bashanta previously held the position of Senior Software Engineering Manager at PayPal, where significant contributions included leading the migration to 3DS2, resulting in critical compliance savings, and growing the 3DS portfolio from $12B to $60B in TPV. Throughout a career that began with early roles in PHP/Zend development and progressed through to engineering management positions, Bashanta has demonstrated a strong ability in mentoring, cross-functional collaboration, and driving impactful product initiatives. Education includes a Master's degree in Information and Communication Technology from La Trobe University and a Bachelor's degree in Engineering from Kathmandu Engineering College.
