Basma Atassi

Basma Atassi has extensive experience in communications, research, and media, having worked in various prestigious organizations. At The London School of Economics and Political Science, Basma served as a Research Assistant to UN envoy Lakhdar Brahimi, followed by roles at the European Parliament and UNDP. Basma transitioned to media as a Digital Producer at Al Jazeera English and later held the position of Senior Producer at CNN. After serving as an Assistant Editor at the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace, Basma became a Visiting Research Fellow at the University of Oxford. Currently, Basma is a Senior Product Manager at Meta, leveraging a solid educational foundation with a Master of Science in Human Rights from LSE and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from the American University of Beirut.
