Beibei Liu

Beibei Liu has a robust background in research and technology, with a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Michigan State University achieved in 2015, where research concentrated on mesh reconstruction, discrete geometry modeling, differential forms, and fluid simulation. Liu served as a Research Assistant at Michigan State University, followed by a role as a Technology Summer Intern at The Walt Disney Studios in 2014. A postdoctoral scholar at California Institute of Technology from 2016 to 2017, Liu then worked at Facebook Reality Labs as a Research Scientist from 2017 to 2023, focusing on developing hand tracking technology for VR/AR devices. Currently, Liu is a Research Scientist at Meta, having transitioned from a position as Senior Staff Research Scientist at OPPO.
