Brittany Baxter

UX Research Scientist - User Health and Safety

Brittany Baxter is an experienced academic and research professional with a strong background in cognitive science and kinesiology. Brittany served as a Graduate Teaching Assistant and Graduate Student Researcher at Brown University from January 2017 to May 2019, where responsibilities included lecturing, providing student feedback, and managing research proposals leading to industry recognition. Prior experience includes a Graduate Teaching Assistant role at Wilfrid Laurier University, alongside significant research collaborations resulting in multiple conference presentations. Currently, Brittany works as a UX Research Scientist focused on User Health and Safety at Meta, following a role as a Health & Safety Research Scientist at Facebook Reality Labs. Educational credentials include a PhD in Cognitive Science from Brown University and two Master’s degrees in Cognitive Science and Kinesiology from Brown University and Wilfrid Laurier University, respectively.
