Caner Guclu

Caner Guclu is an experienced Antenna Engineer currently employed at Meta since August 2025, focusing on antenna design and cross-functional coordination. Previously, Caner held numerous influential roles at Ossia Inc. from June 2017 to August 2025, including Director of Systems Architecture and Distinguished Engineer, where contributions included antenna and RF chain design, system architecture, and advanced algorithms for phase calibration. Caner's earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Antenna Engineer and Graduate Student Researcher at UC Irvine, specializing in optical leaky wave antennas and metamaterials, as well as visiting researcher roles at Sandia National Laboratories and a graduate research assistantship at Middle East Technical University. Caner holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from UC Irvine, a Master's from Middle East Technical University, and a Bachelor's in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the same institution.
