Carina Kan

Carina Kan is a seasoned software engineer with experience at Meta since December 2023 and previously worked as a scientific software developer at ADNET Systems, Inc. from August 2020 to November 2023. At ADNET, Carina developed and maintained public-facing NASA websites, improved APIs for HEASARC integration, and implemented GitLab CI/CD pipelines that enhanced test coverage. Earlier career experience includes an internship at App Academy where Carina evaluated applicants' programming skills, a mechanical solutions engineer role at Ball Aerospace where design and procurement were key responsibilities, and various internships in mechanical engineering and research, including projects with the UC Berkeley Space Sciences Laboratory and Boeing.
