Carlo Dal Mutto is an experienced engineering leader with a robust background in systems engineering, artificial intelligence, and computer vision. Currently serving as Lead System Engineer at Meta since June 2022, Carlo oversees the functional requirements and system engineering for a headset program within the VR systems engineering team. Prior roles include Director of Engineering at Acubed, where Carlo managed a large team for flight autonomy in the Wayfinder project, and co-founder and CTO of Aquifi, Inc., focusing on technology leadership in visual inspection systems for manufacturing. Carlo's educational background includes a PhD in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Università degli Studi di Padova, as well as various visiting roles at prestigious institutions.
