Chao Liu

Chao Liu is a Senior Staff Engineer at Meta, where they continue to innovate in high-performance computing. With a Ph.D. in Computational Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and extensive experience in both industry and research, Chao has held key positions at AMD, including Principal Member of Technical Staff, where they created and led the Composable Kernel library for AI tensor operators. Their past roles include a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Trainee at Argonne National Laboratory, where they received training in extreme-scale computing methodologies.
