Chaya Inturi has extensive experience in various leadership and analytical roles across multiple sectors. Starting as a Business Analyst for the Ministry of Social Development from September 2005 to September 2007, Chaya progressed to positions such as Economic Development Advisor at the Ministry of Research, Science and Technology, and Senior Service Design Lead at the Department of Corrections NZ. Chaya's experience includes compliance and risk management roles at Kiwibank and HSBC, as well as positions in data governance and product operations at Barclays. Most recently, Chaya served as a Messaging AI Senior Product Risk Program Manager at Meta. Chaya holds a Bachelor of Arts from Victoria University of Wellington and completed the Kiwibank Leadership Development Programme in 2013.
