Chenxi Whitehouse

Chenxi Whitehouse is a Research Scientist at Meta, focusing on fundamental AI research, GenAI, and LLaMA since October 2024. Concurrently, Chenxi serves as a Visiting Researcher at the University of Cambridge. Prior experience includes roles as a Machine Learning Engineer at Replicate, an Applied Research Scientist at Amazon, and a PhD Research Intern at Google DeepMind, with a focus on multilingual generation and parameter-efficient transfer learning. Chenxi has also contributed to significant projects at Amazon Alexa AI, Huawei Noah Ark's NLP Lab, and has held software engineering positions at HP and Inpixon. Educational credentials include a Postdoc Research Associate in Natural Language Processing from the University of Cambridge, a PhD in Computer Science from City, University of London, and MSc degrees in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UCL and FAU Erlangen-Nürnberg, as well as a BSc in Information Engineering and Computer Science from Xi'an Jiaotong University.
