Chidera Dawodu has extensive experience in intellectual property law, currently serving as Lead Counsel for IP at Meta since April 2024, and previously working as a Trademarks & Advertising Associate at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati from April 2019. Prior to these roles, Chidera was an Intellectual Property Associate and Summer Associate at Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton LLP from October 2016 to April 2019, as well as a Copyright and Policy Intern at NBCUniversal Media, LLC from September 2015 to May 2016. Chidera earned a Juris Doctor (J.D.) with Honors from The George Washington University Law School and a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, focusing on Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution, graduating Cum Laude from The George Washington University in 2012.
