Chuan Guo

Chuan Guo is a Research Scientist at Meta, focusing on 3D motion modeling for virtual reality applications since August 2025. Prior experience includes a role at Snap Inc., where Chuan built large-scale 3D motion data and designed AI models for automated 3D animation production. At the University of Alberta, Chuan served as a Research Assistant, leading projects on language-grounded 3D human behavior modeling and achieving notable publications at ECCV 2022 and CVPR 2022. Experience also encompasses work as an Associate Researcher at Huawei Canada on human motion style transfer and deep learning-based 3D human motion control. Earlier contributions include developing algorithms for fake news detection at the Chinese Academy of Sciences. Chuan holds a PhD in Computer Engineering from the University of Alberta and a Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering from Jilin University.
