Chunhua Wang

Chunhua (Amy) Wang is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in hardware and optical engineering. Currently serving as a Technical Lead at Meta since June 2021, Chunhua specializes in delivering the 3D depth sensor module for the Meta Quest Headset, which enhances spatial understanding. Prior to this role, Chunhua worked at Apple from March 2020 to May 2021, developing high-performance depth projectors for FaceID and LiDAR sensors. Chunhua's earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Optical Engineer at Quanergy, an Optical Design Engineer at Molex, and a Supervisor in Product Test and Qualification at Corning Optical Communications. Chunhua holds a PhD in Environmental Science from the University of California, Merced, and a PhD in Optical Engineering from the Shanghai Institute of Optics and Fine Mechanics.
