Ciara Gibbs

Ciara Gibbs is a dedicated researcher and educator in the field of bioengineering, with extensive experience in both academic and practical settings. Ciara has contributed to various projects including assessing group project evaluations in the Bioengineering Department and tutoring children in mathematics and English. Proficient in machine learning data analysis, Ciara has worked on personalized plant-based remedies at sofi and engaged in research at prestigious institutions such as Imperial College London and Stanford University, focusing on neuroimaging and neurotherapeutics. Ciara's leadership roles include serving as President and Vice President of the Women in Science, Engineering and Technology Society at Imperial College London, driving initiatives that significantly increased membership and sponsorship. Currently, Ciara is pursuing a PhD in Bioengineering at Imperial College London while also holding an internship at Meta as a PhD Research Scientist.
