Dale E. Houck

Dale E. Houck is a versatile professional with a diverse background in engineering and music. Since 2006, Dale has been a freelance musician, specializing in orchestral double bass performance, while also actively playing electric bass and tuba across the Mid-Atlantic region. In the engineering field, Dale began as a Controls Engineering Service Specialist at Siemens, focusing on central plant controls systems for Amazon data centers. Subsequently, Dale contributed as an engineer at DLB Associates, gaining expertise in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and fire protection systems. At Meta, Dale progressed to roles such as Data Center Controls Engineer and Lead Controls Engineer, where responsibilities included managing teams, coordinating automation systems, and developing engineering standards globally. Currently serving as a Controls Engineer at Meta, Dale continues to enhance technical skills in hyperscale data center construction and operations, building on a Bachelor’s degree in Architectural Engineering from Penn State University.
