Damien Lefortier

Damien Lefortier is a distinguished engineer at Meta since November 2016, bringing extensive experience in machine learning and software engineering. Previously, Damien served as a machine learning engineer and tech lead at Criteo, where leadership involved enhancing prediction models for display advertising. At Yandex, Damien focused on ranking and search quality through the development of algorithms and data analysis. Earlier at Exalead, responsibilities included data mining and web crawling within the search team. Academically, Damien holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from EPITA and pursued a PhD in Information Retrieval at the University of Amsterdam, alongside participation in a student exchange program at the Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur.
