Daniel Silva

Daniel Silva is an experienced software engineer with a robust background in technology leadership and software development. Silva began his career at IBM from June 2003 to May 2010, working on distributed processing and cloud computing infrastructure. This was followed by a brief internship at the University of Chicago in 2004. Silva gained significant experience at Amazon from June 2010 to October 2012, first as a Software Development Engineer and then as a Senior Software Development Engineer, where key contributions included leading the architecture and launch of mobile web applications and the primevideo platform. From December 2016 to August 2024, Silva served as a Software Engineer at Snapchat, Inc., spearheading the transition to a robust service platform. Currently, Silva is a Software Engineer at Meta, starting in August 2024. Silva holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Northeastern University, completed in 2005, and has further education at Harvard University.
