David Bajorins

David Bajorins is an accomplished optical engineer with extensive experience in designing advanced optical systems across various industries. At Lockheed Martin Aculight Corporation, David contributed to the development of laser systems for defense applications. Subsequent roles include Lead Optical Systems Engineer at Meta Reality Labs and optical engineering positions at Microsoft, Boeing Space and Defense, and Terabeam, where David focused on machine vision systems and free-space optical communication. As Co-Founder and Vice President of Orb Optronix Inc., David led a multidisciplinary team to establish a diverse client base and designed numerous optical solutions for major companies. David held leadership roles at CSA Group, overseeing photonics testing laboratories and shaping future laboratory vision. Educational credentials include a BS in Laser Optical Engineering from Oregon Institute of Technology and further studies in Optical Sciences at the University of Arizona.
