David Liu has extensive experience in data engineering and quantitative analysis. At Citadel, David served as the Head of Data Engineering for Ashler Capital, leading a team of data engineers to support investment professionals with real-time data used in managing substantial portfolios. Prior to that role, David worked at The Brattle Group as a Data Engineer and Associate, where leadership involved guiding teams in economic analysis for legal cases and designing quantitative analyses of large datasets. Currently, David is a Senior Data Engineer at Meta, contributing within the marketing organization. David holds a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a BA in Mathematics from the University of California, Berkeley.
