Deirdre DeBruyn Rubio

Deirdre DeBruyn Rubio, Ph.D., is a Senior UX Qualitative Researcher at Meta, with extensive experience in qualitative research and policy development. Previously, Deirdre served as a Research Associate at Harvard University, where research involved generative and evaluative methods, including ethnography and in-depth interviews. Key accomplishments include leading a five-year ethnographic study and conducting participant observations at over 150 sites. Deirdre also held various roles at UNESCO, including Consultant and Program Specialist, focusing on policy recommendations for poverty alleviation, racism prevention in education, and Global Citizenship Education.
