Derek Larson

Derek Larson is a Machine Learning Engineer with a diverse background in physics and data science. After completing a Ph.D. at the University of California, Santa Cruz, Derek worked as a postdoctoral researcher at National Taiwan University, where groundbreaking work in Quantum Monte Carlo simulations was conducted. Transitioning into machine learning, Derek held various positions at Sojern, leading initiatives to optimize advertising platforms, and is currently employed as a Machine Learning Engineer at Meta.
