Derek McLachlan

Derek McLachlan is an experienced engineering professional with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from The Ohio State University, obtained in 2012. McLachlan began a career at Cummins Inc. as a Mechanical Engineering Intern, gaining experience in quality, mechanical development, and applications engineering within the high horsepower division. Subsequent roles included serving as Engineering Program Manager at Siemens Energy, where responsibilities encompassed project management and supply chain operations in power generation, ultimately leading to project management roles with profit and loss accountability. Most recently, McLachlan held positions at Meta, first as Facility Technical Manager overseeing a team in various technical disciplines for a data center, and later as Technical Lead Manager in Facility Operations Engineering Program Management, driving complex engineering initiatives across the organization.
