Edgardo Avilés-López

Edgardo Avilés-López is a seasoned Production Engineer at Meta since July 2024, with extensive experience in software engineering and architecture. Prior roles include Staff Engineer at Alloy, where Edgardo successfully designed a CLI that accelerated development cycles and improved codebase testability significantly. Previous positions at Lifion by ADP featured leadership roles as Senior Principal Architect, Principal Architect, Technical Architect, and Senior Application Developer, focusing on framework development, team management, and system migrations. Edgardo has also contributed to educational initiatives in computational art and augmented reality as a co-teacher and teaching assistant at the School For Poetic Computation. An accomplished academic, Edgardo holds a Ph.D. and M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Centro de Investigación Científica y de Educación Superior de Ensenada, along with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Universidad Autónoma de Baja California.
