Eric Dunford

Eric Dunford has a diverse academic and professional background in political science and data science, highlighted by a tenure as an Assistant Professor at Georgetown University McCourt School of Public Policy from August 2018 to January 2022, where Eric designed and taught several innovative courses in the Data Science for Public Policy program. Additionally, as Associate Director of the Data Science for Public Policy program, Eric played a key role in shaping curriculum goals and collaborating with public and private sector data science operations. Prior to these roles, Eric served as a Case Assistant at Seyfarth Shaw and as a Research Assistant at the University of Maryland. Currently, Eric is a Research Scientist at Meta. Educationally, Eric holds a Doctor of Philosophy and a Master's degree in Political Science and Government from the University of Maryland, as well as a BA in Political Science, Journalism, and English from Beloit College.
