Ethan Xu

Ethan Xu is currently a Staff AI Scientist at Meta, where they focus on developing and productionizing machine learning (ML) systems for AI applications. With a PhD in Mathematical Sciences with a concentration in Statistics from Binghamton University, Ethan has led impactful projects in various organizations, including IBM and Amazon, where they built predictive models and e-commerce product entity linkage systems. Committed to advancing research, they have published over ten papers in top ML venues and filed four US patents related to data cleaning and human-in-the-loop learning. Additionally, Ethan serves as an adjunct faculty member at Case Western Reserve University, contributing to the field through teaching and collaboration.
