Human Subjects research assistant II

Fangqing G. is a research assistant with extensive experience in video annotation and machine learning applications within developmental psychology. At the University of California, Davis, from January 2020 to August 2021, Fangqing contributed to the Social Inference Lab under Professor Andrew Todd. Currently, Fangqing works at Stanford University in the Medical AI and Computer Vision Laboratory, focusing on creating annotation guidelines for surgical training videos. Additionally, Fangqing has played a significant role in the FIND Program, conducting systematic video analysis of parent-child interactions to develop machine learning models based on Harvard's "Serve and Return" framework and collaborating on research to automate video editing for early childhood interventions. Previously, experience also includes a position as a social media coordinator at Table Tennis America. Fangqing holds a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the University of California, Davis.
