Francesca U. is an accomplished communications professional with extensive experience across various sectors, including public relations, marketing, and diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI). Francesca served as Senior PR Manager for Africa at Weber Shandwick and has held multiple leadership roles, including Head of Communications for West Africa at Uber and Global DEI Communications at Meta. As a Public Voices Fellow with The OpEd Project and Equality Now since July 2024, Francesca continues to advocate for women's rights through Leading Ladies Africa, an organization founded to promote gender-inclusive leadership and equality, which has positively affected over 320,000 women and 80,500 girls across Africa.
