George Yu

George Yu is an experienced engineer with a Bachelor's degree in Electronics Systems Engineering Technology from California State Polytechnic University-Pomona. George has held significant roles in various organizations, including positions at The Aerospace Corporation as an FPGA/ASIC Intern, where techniques for space-safe digital hardware design were implemented, and at Northrop Grumman, serving as the Embedded Systems Lead for an Unmanned Ground Vehicle project. Additional roles include Staff ASIC/FPGA Digital Design Engineer at Synopsys Inc., focusing on FPGA prototyping and SoC design, and currently serving as a Pre-Silicon Prototyping FPGA Engineer at Meta. George's diverse experience also includes earlier positions as a barista at Sharetea Dublin and a technician at Pleasanton Computer Repair, as well as working at Cal Poly Pomona Foundation, Inc. during a brief period.
