Hady Elsahar

Hady Elsahar is a Staff Research Scientist at Meta, specializing in developing novel watermarking techniques and leading a research team focused on content provenance. Prior to this role, Hady served as a Senior Research Scientist at NAVER LABS Europe, co-leading research in Controlled Natural Language Generation and Large Language Models. Hady's background includes experience as a researcher at the Wikimedia Foundation, where efforts were directed toward the AI-powered visual editor Scribe, and a PhD in Natural Language Processing and Machine Learning from Université de Lyon, with a focus on natural language generation and knowledge graph representations. Additional experience includes various research internships at Bloomberg, IBM, Microsoft, and other institutions, contributing significantly to advancements in NLP and sentiment analysis. Hady holds a Master’s degree from Nile University and a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Ain Shams University.
