Hind Hobeika

Hind Hobeika is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in product management and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as Director of Product Management at Meta since June 2020, Hind leads a team focused on hardware and AI, notably overseeing the development of Ray-Ban Meta smart glasses. Prior to this role, Hind founded Instabeat, a company dedicated to innovating swimming through technology and design, holding the position of CEO from September 2011 to May 2020. Hind also organized the first Quantified Self meetup in the Middle East while managing the Beirut Chapter from March 2012 to December 2013. Earlier experience includes working as a Design Engineer at Dar Al Handasah, where responsibilities included HVAC design for major projects in the Middle East, and a research internship at Procter & Gamble, developing materials for baby wipes. Hind Hobeika holds a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from the American University of Beirut, completed in 2010.
