Hong G. has extensive experience as a Software Engineer with a proven track record in developing and optimizing complex systems. At Microsoft from July 2017 to November 2021, Hong led a team that migrated the commerce licensing service to Azure Kubernetes Service, enhancing service reliability for millions of users. Prior to that role, Hong worked at Meta, focusing on platform identity and access. Experience includes contributions at Yahoo! from September 2014 to July 2017, where Hong developed RESTful APIs for Yahoo! Mail's metadata system, and at TiVo, where performance testing and troubleshooting were key responsibilities. An earlier internship at EMC involved automated testing for the Avamar system. Hong holds a Master’s degree from the University of California, Irvine, and a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Communication University of China.
