Ida Chak

Ida Chak is an accomplished data scientist currently working at Meta as a secondee and contingent worker since May 2023. Previously, Ida held the position of Senior Data Scientist at Frontier Economics from November 2022 and served as a Data Scientist at the Financial Conduct Authority from October 2020 to November 2022, focusing on markets analysis, supervision, and social data science. Prior experience includes roles as an Economic Policy Adviser at the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs where responsibilities included EU tariffs and trade policy, COVID-19 strategy, and engagements with the World Trade Organisation. Ida also worked as a Business Planning and Financial Analyst at Novartis, contributing to a project involving AI and data analytics, and as a Product Strategy Analyst at HSBC. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics and Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science and a Master of Science in Data Science from Anglia Ruskin University, with further studies planned at UCL from January 2025 to April 2025.
