Jake Chen is a Senior Product Design Engineer at BYD Electronic (International) Company Limited, responsible for future Apple products system design and builds during NPI stages, collaborating with cross-functional teams. Previously, Jake served as a Mechanical Design Engineer at Bridgelux, Inc., focusing on an IoT-enabled smart lighting control system, and a Mechanical Engineer at Duro UAS, where contributions included the development of an autonomous underwater drone. Additional experience includes a role as Product Design Engineer at Amazon Lab126 and currently at Meta. Jake holds a Master of Science in Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering from Syracuse University and a Bachelor of Science in Vehicle Engineering from Dalian Jiaotong University.
