Jake Deakin

Jake Deakin is an accomplished product designer and design leader with a diverse background across several prominent companies. Experience includes leading design for a corporate compliance product at Propel Ventures, serving as design lead for Facebook Stories at Meta, and participating as a member of the Design Leadership Forum. Previous roles include assistant lecturer at RMIT University, as well as positions at InVision where responsibilities encompassed establishing the Studio App Store and leading design on various products. Jake also has experience in industrial design, having worked on ATM surrounds and medical device prototyping. Educational qualifications include a Diploma of Product Design and a Bachelor of Industrial Design (Honours) from RMIT University, where high academic achievements were attained.
