James Golden, P.E. has extensive experience in nuclear engineering and mechanical engineering. Starting with the US Navy from June 2012 to December 2013, James served as a Nuclear Submarine Officer, undergoing rigorous training in Nuclear Power and submarine systems, including positions such as Senior Project Manager and Reactor Control Officer on the USS Nevada. Post Navy service, James held the role of Director for the Nuclear Engineering Sciences Division at the Naval Nuclear Power Training Command before joining Meta in January 2019 as the Data Center Facilities Lead Mechanical Engineer. Academic achievements include a Bachelor of Science degree from the United States Naval Academy and a Master of Science degree from Georgia Institute of Technology.
