James Sims is an experienced engineering professional with a diverse background in facilities management and electrical systems. From May 2005 to January 2021, James worked at Duke Energy Corporation as a Generation Process Specialist. Prior experience includes service in the US Navy as an Electrician's Mate (Nuclear) from June 1991 to September 1999. After transitioning to civilian roles, James held a position at Siemens Building Technologies as a Systems Specialist from September 1999 to May 2005, before moving to Facebook in January 2021 as a Critical Facility Engineer. Currently, James serves as the Lead Building Engineer at Meta, starting in April 2023.
