Jean-Baptiste Fiot is a highly experienced machine learning professional with a strong background in quantitative research and applied mathematics. Currently serving as a Staff Machine Learning Engineer and Tech Lead at Meta since January 2021, Jean-Baptiste previously held leadership roles, including Quantitative Research Director at Qube Research & Technologies and Quantitative Researcher at Susquehanna International Group, LLP. Earlier career experience includes positions at IBM as a Research Scientist and Project Manager, and a research engineer and PhD candidate at Université Paris Dauphine. Jean-Baptiste holds a PhD in Applied Mathematics from Université Paris Dauphine, as well as Master's degrees from Ecole normale supérieure and CentraleSupélec.
