Jian Yang

Jian Yang is a skilled professional with a diverse background in software engineering and data science, currently serving as a Research Scientist at Meta since June 2021. Jian's previous experience includes an internship as a Software Engineer at Meta, where automation of quarterly network demand forecast release was achieved, and as a Data Scientist Intern at HERE Technologies, where a Quality Index model was developed for assessing HD Live Map confidence. Education includes a Bachelor's Degree from Zhejiang University and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Notre Dame, where Jian worked as a Research Assistant on advanced technologies in Edge Computing, Machine Learning, and Wireless Communication, and as a Graduate Teaching Assistant for courses in Artificial Intelligence and Operating Systems.
