Jisan Mahmud

Jisan Mahmud has a robust academic and professional background in computer science, holding a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) and a Master's degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, along with a Bachelor's degree from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Experience includes roles as a Research Scientist at Meta since August 2022, Research Intern at Facebook in 2020, and a Computer Vision and Deep Learning Research Intern at Siemens in 2019. Jisan also served as a Lecturer in Computer Science at Ahsanullah University of Science and Technology, teaching subjects such as artificial intelligence and software engineering, and worked as a Graduate Teaching and Research Assistant at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2017 to 2018.
