Jiyan Yang

Jiyan Yang is a Principal Research Scientist at Meta, specializing in AI and ads ranking since October 2016. Prior to this role, Jiyan served as a Research Assistant at Stanford University from September 2012 to June 2016, while also collaborating on research at Lawrence Berkeley National Laboratory from October 2013 to October 2015. Additional experience includes a Modeling & Analytics Internship at JPMorgan Chase & Co. in 2015 and a Research Internship at eBay Research Labs in 2014. Jiyan holds a Ph.D. in Computational Mathematics from Stanford University (2011-2016) and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Nanjing University (2007-2011).
