Joakim Bang is an experienced data scientist with a significant tenure at Meta, where work has been conducted since July 2019. Prior experience includes a role as a data scientist at Facebook from July 2019 to April 2023 and at Now Interact from February 2017 to July 2019. Joakim also served as a fellow at The Data Incubator in September 2016 and spent six years as a senior lecturer at UNSW Australia from September 2010 to August 2016. Joakim holds a Ph.D. in Finance from the Stockholm School of Economics, completed between 2004 and 2011.
