John Bailey

John Bailey is an accomplished engineer with extensive experience in motion systems and mechanical design, holding notable positions across various companies. At Pleno Inc., John served as Principal Motion, where responsibilities included the design and development of advanced motion systems and maintaining precise repeatability in custom gimbal stages. Previous roles include Senior Staff Engineer at Illumina, where John oversaw control system architecture and mechanical design for next-generation sequencers, and Principal Engineer at Element Biosciences, leading precision motion and isolation systems for the Aviti program. Additionally, John co-founded Bailey Bikes, LLC, receiving accolades for custom bicycle frame design.
